Minato Studio is a film production company based in Kobe, Japan,with deep roots in the Kansai region.

Our Mission
We make films that speak to the human heart—stories that bring hope, offer healing, and build connection.​ Our work centers on narrative drama and documentary, exploring social issues, human resilience, and the emotional truths we all share.

 

Our Work
We produce drama series and films in ongoing collaboration with leading Japanese broadcasters and studios. We also partner with creators and companies overseas on international co-productions.

Where We Come From
Since 2021, we have been organizing independent screenings ofour feature film To Heal the Heart across Japan. Through these screenings, we have met many people who still carry deep wounds from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the Great East Japan Earthquake, and other disasters —and we have listened to their stories. Their voices are the foundation of everything we make.
